SHC seeks progress report in minor’s rape case Police directed to coordinate with other provinces for missing persons’ recovery KARACHI: The Sindh High Court sought a progress report from Dadu Police on Monday pertaining to a minor s rape case and subsequent discharge from Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad. The Dadu deputy commissioner, SSP and medical superintendent of Dadu Civil Hospital appeared before the court. During the hearing, the police briefed the court on the investigation thus far. The court was informed that the prime suspect, Ayaz Panhwar, has been arrested and had recorded his confessional statement before a judicial magistrate in Dadu. The clothes and blood samples of the vicitm and the accused had been sent to the lab at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, for DNA testing, the police said. ....
