Beginning today, The Providence Journal is honoring the accomplishments of Rhode Island student-athletes with the 2020 fall All-State teams.
The honors don’t stop there, though. Each student named an All-State athlete will also be honored July 15, during the 2021 All-State High School Sports Awards On-Demand show.
Presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, the All-State High School Sports Awards is a star-studded broadcast show featuring some of the biggest names in professional sports.
Celebrity presenters will announce the players of the year in 29 sports, along with a number of special awards. Last year, marquee athletes including Venus Williams, Patrick Mahomes, Steph Curry and Jackie Joyner-Kersee.    ....
