Petrol Crisis Expected as Oil Tankers Association Announces Strike
The All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association (APOTA) has announced a strike in the Islamabad Rawalpindi division, suspending the supply of petroleum products to the whole country.
The strike could result in an acute shortage of petroleum products across the region, with citizens fearing that it would engender a petrol crisis, similar to the one that was witnessed across Pakistan in June this year.

APOTA’s General Secretary, Noman Butt, has said that the supply of petroleum products to twin cities, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad airport, and power plants has been suspended.
