Senior percussionist, Justin Doran, of Lake-Lehman High School, has been accepted to the National Association for Music Education 2021 All-Eastern Honor Band.
More than 700 high school musicians were selected from 1,150 All-State applicants from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont to the All-Eastern Honor Ensembles (band, orchestra, mixed chorus, treble chorus, and jazz ensemble).
The musicians will participate in a “Virtual Weekend” experience March 4-6 that will include keynote speakers, masterclasses with professional musicians, rehearsals with their conductors as well as opportunities to learn and network with colleges and universities of various types and participate in mock auditions. ....
