999 helpline: 2 children among 5 workers rescued from brick kiln Photo: Collected Star Online Report Star Online Report Police today rescued five workers including two children who were confined in a brick kiln in Pirojpur s Indurkani after receiving a call for help through the helpline number 999. After getting information through 999, police raided the brick kiln of Niaz Brick Industries at Kholpatua village yesterday and rescued five workers, said Officer-in-Charge of Indurkani Police Station Mohammad Humayun Kabir. The rescued workers are Mafizur Rahman (8), Sagar Hossain (9) and Aliraj Hossain (18) of Shrifalkati village in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira. They were confined at Kholpatua village and forced to work against their will. Of them, Aliraj and Rashedul were kept in chains, the OC said. ....
