The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday sacked its Bauchi State chairman, Babayo Misau, over alleged leadership failure and named his replacement. Misau’s sack was made known by the party’s Legal Adviser, Rabi’u Garba, while briefing journalists at the end of an emergency executive meeting held at the “Next Level Secretariat” of the party in Bauchi State. Garba told newsmen that 27 out of the 37 executives of the party passed a vote of no confidence in Misau during the meeting because he failed in his responsibilities as state chairman. ....

A top source explained that the APC, having seen the crisis generated by the revalidation of its membership, wants to pull down the house due to its raging internal crisis.
