A local and federal investigation resulted in the arrest of an Algonquin man who is facing nearly 50 charges after he was found distributing and possessing child pornography.
An Algonquin man was charged with 45 counts of child pornography on Thursday and was being held in the McHenry County jail on $500,000 bond, records show.
An Algonquin man accused of seriously injuring a 25-year-old woman Saturday in a hit-and-run posted the required 10% of a $55,000 bond and was released Monday morning from McHenry County jail, according to court records and the jail log.
