When Niwot volleyball earned a No. 14 regional seed, only to find out it had to drive just a few miles up the road to the Class 4A Region 11 tournament at Longmont, the Cougars felt a thrill, and they displayed that tenacity Saturday in a 3-1 victory over the 11th-seeded Trojans to extend the season a bit longer.
