Good place. in january of 2012, the alexanders attended the march for life and god put it in their hearts to adopt a beautiful child. two years later in january of 2014, the alexanders got a call that a baby had been born who was opioid dependent. she desperately needed a loving home. she wasn t serious, serious trouble. at the alexanders welcomed her into their home with wide open arms. after the baby was treated for opioid withdrawal, they brought ....
They join me now. one of the themes in the book and something that both of you have been writing about as the nature of the republican party even before the trump era and trump, it seems the way they have gone about this entire health care debate, if you can call it that, has epitomized how much those norms have degraded aside from trump. after all of the horrors we ve seen in the past, we haven t seen anything like this before. the contempt that mitch mcconnell has shown for the way the senate operated in the past, the contempt all of his colleagues have for all the elements of the regular order just blown apart and we have to look not just at the mcconnells of the world but at the alexanders who have started to do bipartisan stuff and then under pressure from the leader dropping. this precedes trump and trump-ism but it s a core part ....
Senator. thank you very much. e.j. deon junior and warren, one nation under trump. they join me now. one of the themes in the book and something that both of you have been writing about as the nature of the republican party even before the trump era and trump, it seems the way they have gone about this entire health care debate, if you can call it that, has epitomized how much those norms have degraded aside from trump. after all of the horrors we ve seen in the past, we haven t seen anything like this before. the contempt that mitch mcconnell has shown for the way the senate operated in the past, the contempt all of his colleagues have for all the elements of the regular order just blown apart and we have to look not just at the mcconnells of the world but at the alexanders who have started to do bipartisan stuff and then under pressure from the leader dropping. this precedes trump and ....
And he will have to answer for. martha: what we talked about last week with regard to whether this program kept america safe, if you look at the examples put forth by general alexander. you have to prove that what he revealed made us more vulnerable because the program was indeed working. i don t know if if the government want to do that. since general alexanders revelations the nsa pulled back on one of its major arguments. snowden wants to be able to make a moral argument that he had 2 oaths with which to comply. his oath to keep secrets and his oath to protect, and defend the constitution. i don t know if the court will let him make that argument. if the court does allow him to make that argument then we are ....
you ve jumped in. let me ask you this question. if a second jury is necessary, with a case as infamous as this, as widely reported as this, where are these people going to come from? that s something the prosecution has to think about. do they spend the time, the resources, the money, all of the emotional exhaustion that both sides, but in particular the alexanders would have to go through with a second trial and it is not the whole trial. let s be clear. the second jury only comes in for the penalty phase and only at the point after cruelty has been established. so they would only be deciding whether she lives or dies. still, that is an extraordinary effort and expense on the part of the state. how do you find those unbiased people? are they out there? i don t think so. thanks for being here. up next, the phrase inquiring minds dread the most. ....
