Four men affiliated with the anti-government “boogaloo” group have been indicted on obstruction charges stemming from the death and attempted killing of federal law enforcement officers in California last year.
Jessie Alexander Rush, 29; Robert Jesus Blancas, 33; Simon Sage Ybarra, 23; and Kenny Matthew Miksch, 21 are allegedly part of the “Grizzly Scouts,” a subgroup linked to the extremist movement. They were indicted on Friday for destroying messages on WhatsApp and other evidence authorities have said was tied to the killing of Federal Protective Services Officer Dave Patrick Underwood in May last year and the killing of Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Sgt. LOS ANGELES Four Northern California men allegedly affiliated with the far-right extremist Grizzly militia have been indicted on charges of destroying evidence in a federal investigation into the killing of two officers, prosecutors said Friday.
Jessie Alexander Rush, 29, of Turlock; Robert Jesus Blancas, 33, no hometown given; Simon Sage Ybarra, 23, of Los Gatos; and Kenny Matthew Miksch, 21, of San Lorenzo, are charged in the March 23 indictment with conspiracy to destroy records, destruction of records and obstruction of official proceedings, said the U.S. Attorney s Office in San Francisco. ....

Four suspected Boogaloo associates are indicted for allegedly destroying evidence
Four suspected members of a group associated with the extremist anti-government Boogaloo movement have been indicted by a federal grand jury in San Francisco, the Justice Department announced Friday.
Jessie Alexander Rush, Robert Jesus Blancas, Simon Sage Ybarra, and Kenny Matthew Miksch are charged with destroying records following the May 29 killing of a federal security officer in Oakland and the June 6 slaying of a sheriff’s deputy, according to the federal indictment dated March 23, which was unsealed on Friday.
CNN has reached out to attorneys for Rush, and Miksch for comment, and is attempting to determine whether Blancas and Ybarra have obtained legal representation. ....
