this after five victims in spring garden and fairmount were held up by gun point last month, two in the middle of the day. 18th and fairmount and 27th and spring garden. that is scary to be walking around here. one crime was captured at 4:30 a.m. they approach the victim and rob them and run into a get away van. a shady sketchy looking gentlemen was patrolling the area and sort of picked a victim who looked vulnerable with a cell phone or laptop out. another armed robbery happening here at green and 20th, making five in the last 30 days. local artist robert woodward says that one suspect was so braise and he did it while he was doing roof repairs and he stole a tool while i was up in the scaffolding. people are excited about the new growth in these neighborh d neighborhoods, they are stunned to hear about the robberies. on fairmount this is happening? more than one. surprising indeed, you see so many people out here on fairmount. the good news is no incident

those repairs necessary. it s a shame. jeez, he s young. you know, he just ruined his life. reporter: cam cun tee police charged with 28-year-old alexander peters of gloucester city with deliberately driving his pickup truck over the rain soaked football field sunday before last. he topped off the vandalism by spraying painting a swastika on the concession stand. police say security cameras on the nearby community center and media reports like ours led to numerous tips. we brought the suspect in to be end viewed and he confessed to driving his personal vehicle on the football field damaging the property and spray painting the swastika. peters was behind bars sentenced last friday to three years on an unrelated aggravated assault case. now add to that criminal mischief an act deprived camden kids of a safe place to play and symbol of hatred left behind for young and old to see. but coach kelly says his players ages five to 14 have already moved past the vandalism. as f
