WOLCOTT Alexa Bartoli’s resume qualifies her as a perfect candidate for Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
The 18-year-old Wolcott High senior, who is heading to the UConn in the fall, has a solid academic background filled with community service. Bartoli still found time to become a three-time All-State selection in cheerleading.
How talented and versatile is Bartoli?
Out of 162 cheerleaders statewide who submitted videos of their routines and resumes, Bartoli was recently selected as the Connecticut High School Coaches Association state Cheerleader of the Year.
“As the Chairperson for the CHSCA Cheer committee, the committee and myself felt it was unanimous that Alexa (Lexi) Bartoli was this year’s CHSCA Cheerleader of the Year,” said Maribeth Sarnacki, who has been a special-education teacher at Cromwell High for the past 41 years.
