Manitou Springs Councilwoman Susan Wolbrueck has resigned, the city announced Wednesday, the second city official to step down from her position in three weeks. In an April 4 resignation letter addressed to Mayor John Graham, Wolbrueck cited a family death as the reason for her resignation. I would like to remain as private as possible about my reasons for resignation, simply stating that my circumstances in my life have changed and that I no longer have the time to appropriately serve, she said in the letter.
