In light of the Ravens officially trading Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs this afternoon, some of our Baltimore Beatdown staff share their thoughts:
I’m torn on this trade. On one hand, the Ravens got some value for a player that would be gone in a year anyway. On the other hand, the biggest bully in the AFC (who Baltimore has been unable to beat) just got better on paper. Eric DeCosta can win me over with good use of these picks, however. This gives the Ravens ammunition to be flexible early in the draft. Even with the expected signing of Alejandra Villanueva, there is still a big hole at RT that needs to be addressed in the draft, whether that be a player like Teven Jenkins in the first round, or more of a developmental player on Day 2. ....

2021 NFL Draft: Steelers 7 Round mock draft, post free-agency - Behind the Steel Curtain

With most of their priority free agents off of the market, and Vince Williams and Josh Dobbs having recently signed with the team, it feels as if the Steelers pre-draft wave of free agency may finally be winding down. And with the draft less than two weeks away, it feels like a good time to release my second (and final) mock draft of the year.
Like my last mock draft, I won’t use a simulator to make the picks, but will do my best to ensure the players are picked at reasonable draft slots (Creed Humphrey will likely not be available in Round 2, for instance). And while I’ll try to make picks that I think the Steelers would consider, this is an equal mix of my preference and what I think the Steelers’ front office is. ....
