Winners’ designs will be seen on an Aldi lorry Aldi has launched a competition for children to come up with a design for its latest lorry, as part of its Olympic Team GB sponsorship. The discounter wants schoolchildren aged from five to 14 to submit hand-drawn designs celebrating “fresh, healthy food”. Shortlisted entries will be judged by Team GB athletes, including the Brownlee brothers, Jade Jones, Lois Toulson, Lutalo Muhammad, Max Whitlock and Shauna Coxsey, who will select one winner for England and Wales and one for Scotland. Entries must be submitted by 25 June at getseteatfresh.co.uk/designalorry. Aldi has a long run a campaign to encourage kids to eat healthily, with the help of Team GB athletes. Called Get Set to Eat Fresh, the educational programme has reached 1.9 million children across the UK over five years, according to supermarket, including through school visits by the athletes.
