Over 150 schoolchildren from across Antrim and Newtownabbey performed for KIng Charles III and Queen Camilla during a visit to the borough this afternoon (Wednesday).
Antrim and Newtownabbey Council recently funded and ran a series of workshops to train local community volunteers on Mental Health First Aid in a bid to help tackle mental health issues across the borough.
Community organisations across Antrim and Newtownabbey are being asked to share their ideas for projects that revitalise overlooked rural and urban spaces and build pride in communities.
Over 50 new homes have been constructed on the site of former Ulster University accommodation in Newtownabbey as part of the Department for Communities and Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s Shared Housing Programme ‘Housing for All’ initiative.
