This is where the bomb squad found it when they showed up here. He is the bomb robot picking it up and putting it in a blast box. Then you see the bomb squad carrying the box away, putting it inside a truck, and they drove that truck somhe if anyone finds anything they think might be explosives, dont bring it here to the fire station if anyone finds anything suspect that they believe is an explosive, leave it where it dont touch it, dont bring it to a police station, dont bring it to a fire station. Apartment. The person in the apartment was able to get word to a Family Member who then called. The suspect presented a gun. Pointed it at the officers. One of the officers fired on the suspect ending the threat. Reporter we are told there are seven officers that actually confront had the suspect. We are told that suspect was in the hallway when he actually pointed that gun at officers. They of course returned fire. The suspect is dead here at the scene. We are told by neighbors a k9 that dragged that body out of the apartment. And Phoenix Police are confirming that that did indeed happen. They did use a k9 to help them retrieve that suspect from the apartment. Since they didnt know exactly what was going on inside the apartment.
