Albert Dean “Dean” Chamrad, 83, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 in San Angelo. Dean was born on September 2, 1937, in Mathis, San Patricio County, Texas to Albert and Irene (Shepherd) Chamrad. He grew up in the Beeville area and graduated from Beeville High School in 1956. Dean would go on to graduate from Texas A & I University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Education in 1960, Texas Tech University with a Master of Science Degree in Range Science in 1966 and finally Texas A&M University with a Ph. D., in Range Science in 1971. Dean served his country honorably in the United States Army Signal Corps as a commissioned 2nd Lt. in 1960 and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Reserves with the rank of Captain in 1968. He married Patricia (Patsy) Freeman of Uvalde, TX on May 24, 1986 in Uvalde, TX, and they shared 34 beautiful years together. Dean had a 37-year career in rangeland management with the U.S.D.A
