Thank you for the article “A lost soul dies: Why couldn’t S.F. save her?” (Front Page, Dec. 8): It brought into light one of the people who would normally, in our society, stay invisible. In order to help people whose mental health and/or addiction issues keep them from being able to ask for or accept the help offered, we need to broaden the definition of grave disability and danger to self. ....
