TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested three men over the alleged abduction and robbery of the male manager of a bar in Minato Ward last year, reports the

At around 3:00 a.m. on January 30, 2020, Yukihiro Nomoto, 40, Akira Matsunaga, 42, and an accomplice allegedly abducted the manager, 42, into a minivan from a parking lot in front of an apartment building in the Nishi Azabu area as he returned home.
The trio then put a plastic bag over his head and pummeled him. After stealing 600,000 yen in cash and his house key, they also swiped 20 million yen in cash and precious metals from a safe in his residence. ....

Police in Tokyo have arrested three men on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery and assault after they forced a man into their car, beat him and robbed him before letting him go in January last year.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 3 a.m. on Jan 30, 2020, Sankei Shimbun reported. The 42-year-old victim, who is a bar manager, had just arrived home in Nishi-Azabu when the three men forced him into their vehicle, placed a plastic bag over his head and punched his face.
Police said the three suspects ― Akira Matsunaga, 42, from Tokyo, Yukihiro Nomoto, 40, a Yokohama resident, and Yuji Inukai, 27, from Saitama Prefecture ― stole 600,000 yen in cash and a Rolex watch from their victim, as well as the keys to his home. They then entered his home and stole a safe containing about 20 million yen and precious metals. ....
