The police in Kwara State have paraded suspects in last year’s abduction of four Turkish nationals in the state.
The law enforcement agency paraded them alongside other criminal suspects in Ilorin on Wednesday, including a man said to have held a nude party.
PREMIUM TIMES last July reported how the Turks, Seyit Keklik, 25, Yasin Colak, 33, Ergun Yurdakul, 35, and Senerapal, 40 were kidnapped on Gbugbu-Lafiagi road in Edu Local Government of the state.
The expatriates were working at a quarry site in the area when they were abducted.

Operatives of the Kwara State Police Command yesterday paraded two Fulani herdsmen over their alleged involvement in the 2019 abduction of four Turkish nationals in Gbugbu village in Edu Local Government Area of the state.
The two suspects were also paraded with their two AK 47 rifle used during the operation.
Parading the suspects in Ilorin, the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Lawal Bagega, said: “Four of the kidnappers were arrested with one AK47 in July 2019, however, the victims were rescued alive without paying any ransom.”
Bagega said: “However, two suspects were at large. Since then, the state police command has been in search for the fleeing suspects.
The police boss, who said organisers of the party advertised the show on social media for prospective attendees for N20,000 per person, added that they planned to hold it in lounges, clubhouses and service apartments.

The Kwara State Police Command has arrested a member of a gang planning to organise nude party in selected places in Ilorin, the state capital.
Parading the suspect, Akinsola Babatunde, aka Mr White, in Ilorin on Wednesday, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Bagega, said credible intelligence on the activities of the gang led to the arrest of the suspect at No. 16 Achimugu Street, Ilorin.
