Picture used for representational purpose only MUMBAI: Six people, including a fireman, were injured after a ground-plus-three-storeyed under-construction structure collapsed on an adjoining structure at Mehta Baba Chawl in Andheri on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) disaster management department, a fireman Vishwas Dattaram Rahate, 51, suffered minor injuries and was rushed to a nearby private hospital. He was discharged after receiving primary medical aid. The incident took place at Mehta Baba Chawl, Amar Society, Juhu Gully, Near Salami Hotel, Andheri (West) at 00:28 am on Tuesday and was reported by the Mumbai Fire Brigade at 1:30 am. The five injured have been identified as Akbar Mehtab Shaikh (60), Chand Akbar Shaikh (34), Arif Samshuddin Shaikh (17), Hazra Samshuddin Shaikh (18) and Shamshuddin Shaikh (50). All the injured were rushed to Cooper hospital, hospital sources said. ....
