Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-owned Akasa Air started its commercial flight operations in India from August 7 and plans to fly 18 aircraft by the end of March 2023 across domestic routes in the country.
Akasa Air has also opened ticket sales for its first commercial flights on Friday, with a network that includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi, reports ANI.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-owned Akasa Air begins its commercial flight operations from tomorrow (August 7) and plans to fly 18 aircraft by the end of March 2023 across domestic routes in the country.
Akasa Air will launch its operations by offering 28 weekly flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad starting August 7 and from August 13, the airline will start additional 28 weekly flights between Bengaluru and Kochi.
According to a statement by Akasa Air, ticket bookings for commercial flights connecting Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kochi will be made available.
