the uk. we are keeping this very mild air. blustery wind, but it is where the wind is coming from that is important, coming all the way from sirs, from madeira, from the south, bringing the warmth northwards into the uk, bringing a lot of cloud. the cloud has been dinner across eastern parts of the uk, so there has been weak winter sunshine around. much more cloudy out to the west, where we have seen some rain. this rain is really gathering pace across wales, heading to the north west of england. that could push into parts of northern ireland on the south west of scotland by the end of the day. a very mild, though. those temperatures are 12 to 15 degrees once again today. through this evening and overnight, the rain continues northwards, getting up into the central belt of scotland. some heavier rain for northern ireland. then we see this shorter, sharper burst of rain sweeping eastwards across england and wales, driven by some quite strong wind once again. temperatures ....
