When your daughter Alaya F wanted to enter into films, how did you advise her?
My entire motive, as a parent, has always been to empower my children, guide them, yet never control them. I ve always told them that they will always have us; we will provide them with a roof over their head, food to eat, clothes to wear, and the best education, because it is our obligation. But if they want luxuries like cars and other fancy stuff, they have to go out there and earn it for themselves. The path they choose to do so is their choice.
