Originally founded in 2003, Tiger Airways Holdings Limited was a low cost airline holding company based in Singapore. The company formerly held sizeable majority and minority stakes in a number of Tigerair branded JVs in the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia. Tiger Airways Holdings was wholly owned by the Singapore Airlines Group and only holds a minority stake in its JV in Taiwan.
