US AT-6E Wolverine Offers More for Low-End Attack Aircraft with Excellent Features for US Allies

Turboprop aircraft Wolverine The new twin-seat, single-engine turboprop aircraft was just received after the acquisition was reported by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). It bought inexpensive airplane additional planes when more expensive fight jets are not needed. The AFLCMC is only one of six organizations under the Air Force Materiel Command, reported Eurasian Times.

US New AT-6E Wolverine Attack Aircraft To Boost Data-Sharing With Allies During Ops

February 21, 2021 The US Air Force has received its first AT-6E Wolverine light-attack aircraft that would help it improve cooperation and sharing of data with allies during operations across the globe. The twin-seat, single-engine turboprop aircraft was inducted into the armed forces, as announced by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), one of the six centers reporting to the Air Force Materiel Command. AFLCMC, which is responsible for the life cycle management of Air Force weapon systems from their inception to retirement, announced the arrival of the aircraft on Wednesday (February 17). Developed by Beechcraft, a division of the Rhode Island-headquartered Textron aviation, the AT-6E is a variant of the T-6 Texan II trainer that is configured for light attack and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
