Cnn weather center. hi there, chad. what can you tell us about this? reporter: we think of severe weather season being the spring. the exact opposite happens now. the cold air trays to push the air back down and there is a clash. the winter or fall is not nearly as strong as the spring season. but 18 tornados yesterday. some of the pictures i saw live from storm chaser were easily ef-3. so 150 or more miles per hour. this was the beginning of the storm. as it moved to the north and across the red river into oklahoma, they were long, live tornados. they were on the ground a very long time. they were a quarter to half a mile wide at the base. so this is the damage we re seeing this morning. obviously, the tornados down to ....
