TSA continues to see a rise in air passenger traffic as leisure travel rebounds to near pre-pandemic levels. This past Sunday, TSA screened more than 1.7 million passengers. While the same date last year saw barely over 200,000 passengers, pre-pandemic numbers on the same date in 2019 saw 2.4 million passengers screened.
