and still be deputy attorney general. i think we have to put that possibility on the table because we simply can t be sure what this meeting is about. it doesn t sound like we know for certain exactly what s on the table here. so i think a note of caution here that we just don t know how this is going to end, and it would be theoretically possible, within the realm of possibility that when the meeting is over, rod rosenstein is still the deputy attorney general for at least until the midterm elections which is the time frame we believe that the attorney general, jeff sessions will remain in office, and will leave sometime after the midterms. i think we can t assume when this is over he s out. we have to think about that possibility, and it s certainly a possibility, and that s what makes it to important, and potentially pivotal, but we just can t leave out the other option here which is that this might end with an air clearing.
