Way a frightening one. waiting for them at the national airport, a large and prestigious audience. an elite group of air afficionados were having a buffet brunch and they were all going to come out and see these really cute, and they are cute, small planes buzz in and land one by one. the pilots have a showy landing planned. we were going to do a head brake. we were supposed to run over the runway at altitude and we would circle and land which would give us separation. but he hears ominous crosstalk. there was conversation about crosswinds overheard between the pilots and they said can we switch to a different runway and the air traffic controller said absolutely let s switch to that runway. the pilot in front of me landed along the left. i always land midway on the right and david brown behind me. he was to land short on the left-hand side which went well. ....
