Mandviwalla's allegations: No affiliation with any group, individual: NAB

ISLAMABAD: Denying all the allegations levelled against it, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sunday said it had time and again clarified and announced that it had no affiliation with any political party, individual or group and its affiliation was only with the State of Pakistan.
In a statement with regard to the Deputy Chairman Senate Salim Mandviwalla’s allegations against the NAB in a press talk on Saturday, the NAB said it will not come under any pressure or propaganda campaign.
Clarifying the media reports, the NAB said the land of Kidney Hill area was reserved for amenity purposes i.e. development of a public park. KDA has published a notification in the Gazette of Pakistan under Article 45 of KDA order dated 07-11-1966 & 05-09-1969 regarding Kidney Hill as KDA Scheme No 32 “FALAKNAMA” and proposed it to be a recreational area as park. ....

The National Accountability Bureau filed on Wednesday a reference against Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwalla in the fake accounts case.
This is the 11th reference filed by the anti-graft body in
the case. It has nominated seven individuals, including Nadeem Mandviwalla,
Abdul Ghani Majeed and Tariq Mehmood. Nadeem Mandviwalla is the brother of the Senate
deputy chairman.
The reference says former PIA MD Aijaz Haroon prepared ....

A man, claiming that he was an expert of so called black magic, was arrested for desecrating graves.
The alleged faith-healer, Aijaz Haroon, was booked for desecrating graves in the Model Town graveyard allegedly for casting black magic spells on the rivals of people who paid him.
Things such as heads of dead animals, bones, meat, scribbled people and faecal matter in earthen pots was recovered from the graves he had dug open.
Though law and constitution and all the sane people do not believe in black magic, opening and desecrating a grave is a criminal offence. ....

ISLAMABAD:
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday accorded approval to file a reference against former Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) chairman Aijaz Haroon, Omni Group head Abdul Ghani Majeed and others in the fake bank accounts case.
They are accused of illegally allotting plots of Overseas Cooperative Housing Society Limited (Kidney Hills) Karachi and making payments through fake bank accounts, which caused a huge loss to the national exchequer.
The decision was taken during the Executive Board Meeting of the anti-graft watchdog chaired by Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal at NAB headquarters. ....
