Creation of new spin-offs during pandemic
During the pandemic, the research staff of the University of Barcelona has continued to create companies in which the UB takes part, based on technologies or knowledge carried out at the University. During this period, the creation of four new spin-offs has been promoted.
The first one was Mind & Identity, a company to commercialize the digital platform Explore Your Meanings, to work on psychological assessment, in order to know the perceptions of customers, patients and consumers.
Another one is Accure Therapeutics, which works on medicines candidates to treat central nervous system diseases. The firm results from the merge between Binoure and Iproteos, a spin-off by the UB and IRB Barcelona, created in 2011. ....
