DIMAPUR Following the May 25 gruesome incident in Tizit where Ahoa Konyak, ‘Action chairman’ of the Tizit Area Students’ Union (TASU), was hacked to death by an alleged drug dealer, the menace of drug abuse has become a hot topic of discussion in Mon district though it is not a new issue. With an aim to send a strong message on ‘War against drugs’, peace rallies here held across Mon district on June 1 through the initiative of the Konyak Students’ Union (KSU). While the path to war against drugs is challenging, this time, the district is on a resolute mission to stop the menace.
