MELAKA: Melaka police are waiting for Indonesian authorities to provide information on a body that was found along the shorelines of Tanjung Rupat island before confirming if there is a link to two missing fishermen from here. Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said on Wednesday (Jan 20) that the body was discovered on the Indonesian island at 11.30am on Wednesday (Jan 20). He said based on the initial information from Indonesian police, the decomposed body of a man, who is believed to have drowned between four to five days ago, was clad in a red shirt and jeans.
