In spite of the Iranian regime's inclination to conclude the matter of the president's recent fatal helicopter crash, murmurs around a possible murder plot or a foreign strike are not going away.
Russia is sending a team of 47 rescuers and a helicopter to Iran following an aircraft crash involving Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Sunday (May 19).
It comes as rescuers have been unable to reach the crash site due to heavy fog. According to an Iranian official quoted by Reuters, the helicopter went down while navigating mountainous terrain.
