For most of her young life, she was hoping she could go into banking as well. They were extremely close until he passed away in 1928. She had a younger sister who was born on june 30, 1882. Her mother, florence, developed chronic bronchitis, which caused the family to move around, looking for an environment that was more conducive to her mothers health.
