Chattanooga Band The Afternooners Unveiling New Album May 8 During Southern Belle Riverboat Cruise Thursday, April 29, 2021
It contains 13 tracks written by the band. Eight of the tracks were recorded in Boston at Plaid Dog as a result of two separate trips there over the past two years. One track was produced in Nashville at Blackbird Studio, while three tracks had their origin in Chattanooga with local producer Ivan Garcia of La Blanca studios. Not to mention a secret track recorded in the basement of a friend s house.
Band members say the 13 tracks vary in styles and you won t get bored while listening all the way through. The production is described as a wild roller coaster of all types of songs, lyrics, and sounds, that came out of each member s head. The goal for the album s listening experience is this: never have a low point and to keep the listeners tuned in and hypnotized for its entirety. ....
