Obviously a very chaotic situation. your big takeaway of what you ve seen now on the ground over the last several weeks. you know, some people say it s tragic, or that were back in square one. because the taliban were there and 20 years have gone to. now the taliban is back. i don t think it s either tragic or back to square one. back to square one implies, you want to run the block and now you re where you are again, and nothing else happened. maybe you spent a little gas. that s not the case. we have spent two trillion dollars, 2500 lives, tens of thousands of afghanistan civilian, 60,000 afghan troops, american credibility has been on normally damaged. now you have the taliban who are in power. who are hyper empowered. they are better armed than they ever were. and they had this victory narrative. which is hard to dispute. that they destroyed undefeated ....
