But you re not required to disclose everything and i would bet my bottom dollar that there hasn t been a fisa warrant affidavit submitted to the fisa court since 9/11 that hasn t involved information that s come from an informant who has let s say some issues. i mean that is just how informants are. it s the nature of the game. a fisa warrant, it has to be reupped every three months. exactly. and that does not necessarily go to the same judge, so you might have three, four different judges over the course of a year, looking at the evidence to say, hey, we are gaining information, we re going to continue to allow this fisa warrant to stay in place. exactly, alex. and as kelly o donnell noted at the top of the show, that s the most important fact here. is that this warrant was reupped, numerous times. and the standard for reupping a warrant is you have to be finding relevant information about the illegality that the original you can t just be buying time. in other words, to g ....
