Scott McMillion, a long-time agent and the former chair of the FBI’s Black Affairs Diversity Committee for years, was named to the post earlier this week. It follows a swath of other government agencies who have created similar roles in the months since President Biden took office. McMillion will head direct the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, which was set up in 2012.  As our chief diversity officer, Scott is the right person to ensure that the FBI fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, and that our workforce reflects all the communities we serve , Wray said in a statement.
