Capt. Anthony “Tony” Jaramillo entered the Navy in July 1984 and completed basic training in San Diego. Upon completion, he was designated an Airman and soon transferred to Naval Air Technical Training Center in Millington, Tennessee, where he completed Aviation Structural Mechanic “A” school.
Jaramillo’s highest enlisted rank was Petty Officer First Class and in 1993 he was selected to participate in the Enlisted Commissioning Program. His hard work and determination served him well on his way to being commissioned as a Navy officer in June of 1995. In 1998, he lateraled to the Aerospace Maintenance Duty Officer Community and in 2006 was designated an Acquisition Professional Community member. ....
