MANKATO â Faced with a potential closure, a local pain management clinic will stay open under new Mankato Clinic ownership.
The parent company of Advanced Pain Management, which opened a facility in Mankato about nine years ago, decided to close all of its facilities in the fall due to financial difficulties. Most of its locations were closer to its headquarters in Wisconsin with Mankatoâs being the exception.
After years of partnering with the pain management facility, Mankato Clinic stepped in to keep operations running under the new Mankato Clinic Pain Management Center name.
The services, staff and location at Madison East Center, Suite 402, will remain the same under the new arrangement. The ownership switch brought Dr. Ifechi Anyadioha, nurse practitioner Michael Muchiri and 15 support staff under Mankato Clinicâs umbrella.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Mankato Clinic has added pain management services to its specialty care.
The Advanced Pain Management headquarters recently closed all of its surgery centers and clinic locations, mostly located in Wisconsin, with the exception of the clinic and surgery center in Mankato. Mankato Clinic has stepped in to fully own, operate, and manage the Mankato facility, now called the Mankato Clinic Pain Management Center. The Center can help patients with back pain, headaches, herniated discs, knee pain, neck pain, and more. The Mankato Clinic Pain Management Center is located inside the Madison East Center.
