A Staten Island grand jury has indicted Adem Nikeziq, 30, on a host of charges, including depraved indifference murder and aggravated vehicular homicide, in the January crash, which killed Adriana Sylmetaj and ripped the couple’s unborn child from her womb.
Minutes before his court hearing, the alleged drunk driver discovered that his pregnant wife and unborn baby did not make it in the car crash he caused.
Adem Nikeziq - who is charged with manslaughter, driving under the influence, criminally negligent homicide and vehicular assault - stood with his head down in court today.
