A Donaldsonville man reportedly will get a new trial after being convicted of a 2014 murder and being erroneously released from prison in late 2022 after a years-long wait for a mandatory life sentence to be handed down in court.
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) A convicted murderer, who was mistakenly released from a north Louisiana jail in November, was re-arrested Wednesday morning. Michael “Ma-Man” LeBlanc was convicted of second-degree murder in 2017 for the drug-related killing of 37-year-old Adoriji Wilson in 2014, The Advocate reported.
