Brendon Hamilton was killed in a flat on Auckland s Dominion Road in May 2019.
His mother, Adoniah Lorigan, has told the High Court in Auckland today she couldn t put in words the pain she has in her heart.
Simeon apologised to Hamilton s family and asked them to forgive her.

A young mother has been found guilty of murdering her 21-year-old partner Brendon Hamilton.
Almost two years after Hamilton died in his Dominion Rd flat and more than two weeks after Rikki-Lee Simeon pleaded not guilty to murder, jurors reached a verdict at 3.40pm on Wednesday.
Hamilton, 21, was stabbed in the neck in the Mt Eden apartment and died the same day his and Simeon s daughter Shyanne turned 1 year old.

The unanimous guilty verdict at Auckland High Court brought some tears of relief to Hamilton s family, who d waited for justice since May 18, 2019.
