According to Adom Aron, the CEO of AMC, he believes that his AMC theaters will survive 2021.
They raised $917 million dollars for AMC since mid-December after the pandemic hit last year. Aron says that the money they raised will allow his theaters to remain open throughout the year. Things are off to a slow start for theaters currently, but he believes as the year goes on, moviegoers will make their way back to theaters despite how popular streaming is currently.
