And by $385,000 per year for maintaining educational and operational services, for the 2022-23 school year through the 2026-27 school year (for a total of $700,000 per year for the 2022-23 school year through the 2026-27 school year and a total of $315,000 per year for the 2027-28 school year through the 2040-41 school year.

Riverdale School Board discusses prom MUSCODA - The Riverdale School District met Monday evening both virtually and masked and in person Monday evening, Feb. 8 for their regular monthly meeting.  District Administrator Jon Schmidt shared with the district that he contacted Grant County Health in regards to an update on staff vaccines for COVID-19. “They are still planning on coming the first week in March, give or take a week, to vaccinate all the staff who want to be vaccinated,” Schmidt noted. Adding that at the last survey of staff there was about 60-70 percent who wanted to be vaccinated.  It was also shared that the State Wrestling Tournament would be a one day event this year. The WIAA would not be refunding room payments, but the district would be covering that cost.

Riverdale board plans details of operating referendum update MUSCODA - District Administrator Jon Schmidt reported that the district received a $350.00 donation from Compeer Financial out of Viroqua that is to be donated to the food service program to help families that need assistance with paying for school lunch. Schmidt showed a promotional video that has been developed in conjunction with a Grant County project promoting the county for prospective residents.  The video can be found on Grant County’s website http://www.co.grant.wi.gov/ underneath the education tab.   Schmidt went over the timeline of the referendum communication plan for renewing the current $600,000 operating referendum to $700,000 in the upcoming April referendum. Part of the referendum will be used to pay debt for a remodel/building project for the JH/HS building and a portion will be used for operating expenses.  Included in the timeline are community mailings, virtual meetings, and
