The busy stretch, named after cine star Late Dr Vishnuvardhana, has become a point of traffic congestion after residential layouts started booming in and around Turahalli forest. The proposed four-lane road is, however, likely to eat into a portion of Mylasandra Lake. It appears that the BBMP has decided to add two new lanes on one side of the road in order to help Mahaveer Lakes Apartment, which is located right opposite the water body.
