Ogun: Two police inspectors, corporal dismissed for robbery

The Ogun State Police Command on Tuesday paraded three police officers who had been subjected to orderly room trial for alleged involvement in armed robbery in Ijebu-Ode after which they were dismissed and would soon be charged to court.

The Nigeria police have dismissed three officers over alleged armed robbery and extortion in Ogun State.   The officers were identified as Inspector Taiwo Kolawole, Inspector John Ogbe and Cpl Idowu Sunday, all attached to the Ijebu-Ife division.   One civilian, Adesiyan Mathew, involved is said to be the driver.   The suspects were paraded alongside 27 other suspected kidnappers, armed robbers and cultists at the state headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta on Tuesday.
